Description
Produced by "Medical Interactive", this CD-ROM contains "The Raven MRI Teaching File". More than 5500 digital images cover all areas of MR imaging, including ten MR angiography cases. Each case includes a narrative outlining the findings, diagnosis and discussion, as well as a list of references. The digital images enable the user to control the window and the level of the images, and many of the images have labels that the user can turn on or off - an important feature for self-study and review. Several cases feature full-colour images illustrating the disease process, and the cardiovascular section features dynamic video images demonstrating cardiac motion. The program allows users to search through all cases or selected sections for examples of specific diseases to study; or, the computer can randomly order cases and present them as unknowns to help sharpen diagnostic skills.
