All about Outcomes: An Educational Program to Help You Understand, Evaluate, and Choose Pediatric Outcome Measures Part 1

A multimedia software program for practice working in paediatric rehabilitation. The CD-ROM enables the user to select the most appropriate outcome measure to use for an individual, client, service and/or program evaluation. The program guides the user through a protocol for making decisions about outcomes, developed using the modified International Classification of Impairment, Disease and Handicap (ICIDH) framework. The program is linked to an outcome measures database of critically appraised children's outcome measures. Users select desired measurement criteria and psychometric information on appropriate outcomes measures is provided. The interactive nature of this program allows the user to choose measures for specific clinical situations and compare measures for decision-making. Over 125 outcome measures and over 1000 literature sources are included. The system requirements are: a 486 (or faster) PC; Windows 3.1, Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0; 2X CD-ROM drive; and 8MB of RAM. This product is not available for the Mac.
