This CD-ROM demonstrates two approaches - the transabdominal and the totally extraperitoneal - that are used for laparoscopic repair of inguinal hernias. It's coverage includes a detailed introduction to the anatomy of the extraperitoneal region. Particular attention is devoted to the method of correctly accessing the extraperitoneal space with a balloon dissector. Vulnerable anatomical structures, such as the spermatic cord, are carefully identified. It is Windows/Macintosh compatible.
