Description
Understanding the growing complexities in environmental management and risk assessment involves four distinct disciplines: landscape ecology, environmental risk assessment, valuation of ecological goods and services, and environmental management decision processes. This book presents the state-of-the-art / science in each of these areas to provide a foundation for students and practitioners engaged in environmental management. Chapters cover such topics as quantitative measures and modeling, risk assessments (marine, forest, agricultural, pharmaceuticals), environmental economics, and decision analysis tools. An accompanying DVD features graphics, animations, and risk assessment tools.
