The Grant-making Trusts 2004

Providing fast and easy access to over 4,000 trusts, this annually updated resource contains information about more than 4000 UK grant-making trusts giving over #1 billion a year. It combines the information from nine flagship guides of the Directory of Social Change and the Charities Aid Foundation. Each trust entry covers: yearly grant total; contact details; grant-making policies and examples of grants given; and areas or subjects the trusts will not consider. Search facilities of the CD include: combined search by geographical area; type of activity and type of beneficiary; and search by name of trust, location, type of grant, trustee or key word. The software includes: a "Getting started" tutorial; hyperlinks to trust websites or e-mail; and the facility to bookmark selected trusts, add your own notes, print individual entries and tag contact details and addresses for export. Now in its third edition, the CD includes all the updated data from the 2003/2004 editions of "A Guide to the Major Trusts Volumes 1 and 2", as well as the 18th edition of the "Directory of Grant Making Trusts" - including many trusts new to these guides.
It runs on Windows 95 and above in PC format only, and has network capability.
