Description
Reviewing and Checking Progress 8 provides activities that cover the 'Checking Progress' and 'Reviewing Work' sections of the QCA Scheme of Work for science in Year 8. The program is simple to navigate and all activities are suitable for use on one computer or via a data projector or whiteboard. Many activities can also be completed on paper. Activities are of different types including animations, completion exercises, literacy exercises, quizzes, concept maps and group activities. The materials provided are ideal for assessing pupil progress without formal testing. All work is printable and model answers are available from a website accessed from the 'notes' button. Hints and tips can be accessed if pupils struggle. Printouts automatically show whether hints and tips have been accessed to aid marking. Advice on assessing pupil progress is also available via the notes button.
