Patterns of Power

Aboriginal art is a dynamic and ancient artistic tradition. This programme is the first of three projected CD-ROMs and provides an exploration of aboriginal art. More than 120 artists and their cultural background is represented, as well as music and sounds from Arnhem Land. The CD-ROM contains photographs and videos, and a visual exploration of the most important signs and symbols. It provides a varied context for understanding the art and is available for Macintosh and Multimedia PCs.
