Reviews / Votes
This book looks like a real find to me. It covers the new course (both SL and HL, including the options) very well, with useful references to the Nature of Science and Theory of Knowledge as required by the IB. The book captured my interest immediately I picked it up - in fact, when I first saw it I couldn't put it down! It is very easy to read, and is remarkably well illustrated. Its structure follows closely to the IB syllabus. There are lots of worked examples, lots of ideas and advice to students on practical work, a good selection of questions for student practice at the end of each topic, and advice relating to the new internal assessment procedures. I am looking forward to exploring it further. * Bill Riceman, IB Physics Teacher, The International French School of Sydney * We were planning on ordering another publisher's resources but many of our IB teachers attended workshops and came back asking for Oxford. The quality of the text and online support package is the reason. * Ron Patrick, Head of Science, International School of Panama *More details
