Year 6 CD-Rom

Spotlight on Fact CD-ROM 6 is a fabulous cross-curricular Literacy resource. It includes a simulated website, eight interactive writing frames and an electronic Big Book containing eight complete non-fiction texts.


The interactive text, Superbard, is an interactive text featuring six Shakespeare plays. It encourages children to explore and evaluate in order to find and extract information. Take part in the Superbard Quest to find out about Hamlet, Macbeth, The Tempest, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Romeo and Juliet, Twelfth Night and Shakespeare's World.


The electronic Big Book supports teaching and learning, highlighting key text, sentence and word level objectives of each Spotlight on Fact non-fiction book in Year 6.


Eight interactive writing frames support pupils in writing within a variety of non-fiction genre. The frames can be used with Textease or Microsoft Word.
