Description
Quest is a comprehensive test and questionnaire analysis environment providing researchers access to the most recent developments in Rasch measurement theory, as well as a range of traditional analysis procedures. Incorporating an easy-to-use control language with flexible and informative output, Quest can be used with both dichotomous and polytomous observations. It scores and analyzes such instruments as multiple-choice tests, Likert-type rating scales, short answer items, and partial credit items.
The Rasch analysis provides item estimates, case estimates, and fit statistics. The results from this analysis can be accessed through a variety of informative tables and maps. Traditional item analyses, including several reliability indices are also computed. Both the Mantel-Haenszel and Rasch DIF indices may be computed. Subgroup and subscale analyses are supported, as well as anchoring of Rasch parameter estimates.
Quest is available for both PCs and Macintosh computers. The PC version requires a minimum of an 80386 PC with a math coprocessor; Quest can use extended memory in the PC. Macintosh versions are available for operation on all Macintosh computers with a math coprocessor. A Macintosh SE/30 or better with a minimum of 4MB RAM is recommended.
