Exploring Health Education

This book is intended to serve as a guide to the work and materials of the Health Education Council Project. The main purpose of the text is to alert student teachers to the health education requirements of their future pupils and of health education issues they will undoubtedly meet during their teaching careers. Included in the text is an overview of the principles, practice and organization of school health education, statergies for planning and implementing a programme of health education, and a review of the methods of teaching which may be employed. A brief catalogue of the resources - both human and material - which are available for courses are listed. The ring binder contains the tutor's guide and ten units, plus a separate student's 64pp booklet, with a separate ISBN, inserted in a pocket of the binder.
