JULIE O'MARA is president of O'Mara and Associates, a full-service human resource development consulting firm formed in 1972. Julie and her associates work with clients primarily on leadership and managing diversity processes. A former National President of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), she also teaches for the University of California Extension at Berkeley and John F. Kennedy University. With Dr. David Jamieson, she wrote Managing Workforce 2000: Gaining the Diversity Advantage, a best-seller published by Jossey-Bass in 1991.
