Going to Work

This is part of a course sponsored by the Law Society and the Schools Curriculum Development Committee. It was developed by groups of teachers and solicitors in eight LEAs and trialled in 55 schools. A variety of topics are presented in the form of photocopy masters which use an active learning approach designed to develop skills in reasoning, problem solving, evaluation, speaking, negotiation and presentation. The course is suitable for courses in Personal and Social Education, Social Studies, Life Skills, Humanities, Business Studies and GCSE Law.
