STEPS Mathematics: Resource Masters Level 3A

Devised after extensive consultation with primary teachers, "STEPS" is a complete maths scheme offering a pathway through the programmes of study for Key Stages 1 and 2. Among the features incorporated are activity-led learning; built-in assessment; a flexible approach to suit individual teachers; a wide choice of activities for all ability levels; cross-curricular links; attractive, highly visual pupil materials; help with forecasting and planning; a choice of record-keeping procedures; and ideas for home-school links. "STEPS" is structured and keyed to the new Attainment Targets and Statements of Attainment of the National Curriculum. The series will be kept up-to-date with any National Curriculum changes by means of free updates. Photocopiable Resource Masters provide teachers with a choice of record-keeping procedures, assessment activities and forecasting and planning techniques. For pupils they provide "cut-up and do" sheets, activity pages for individuals and groups and various grids and numeral cards. These Resource Masters accompany level 3a of the course.
