Persons
Dr. Xin Ren is a Full Professor at the Centre of Innovative Structures, Deputy Director of the Department of Intelligent Construction and Management, College of Civil Engineering, Nanjing Tech University. He graduated with a Ph.D. from RMIT University, Australia in 2017. He is Vebleo Fellow; Top-notch talents of middle-aged and young people in Nanjing. He has published more than 50 journal papers, including four "ESI Highly Cited" papers, with a total cited number of more than 1,850 times (Google Scholar: H-index is 21). He acted as Editorial Board or Youth Editorial Board for the following international journals: Defence Technology (JCR-Q1).
Prof. Dr Zakiah Ahmad is the Dean of Faculty of Civil Engineering and also the Director of Infrastructure Engineering and Sustainable Management (IIESM) at Universiti Teknologi Mara. She obtained her Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering and Master's degree at the Memphis State University, United States of America before continuing to take PhD in Timber Engineering at University of Bath United Kingdom. Zakiah is specialising in timber engineering and timber composites. Her other interest includes nano-polymer composites as well as cement composites. She has supervised more than 60 postgraduate students. She has published more than 300 papers in journals and proceedings and has written 3 books and several booklets for industries.
