Douglas L. Wilson grew up in the small rural Northern Michigan town of Grayling. He is a graduate of Central Michigan University. Doug recently retired from a forty year career as an educator, youth counselor, and family social worker. Doug and his wife continue to reside in the Grayling area and they are frequent visitors to Doug's alma matter in Mount Pleasant. Doug has been a poet for over fifty years and he is the author of the popular book Echoes and Shadows.
