Calvin Thompson spent countless years mastering Time Travel Technology and just when he is finally about to become the first official time traveler, a jealous co-worker, Eric Seabright, sends him back in time to the year 1831 in the deep south at the height of slavery. John Whitfield, AKA Divine G, is the real live person Colman Domingo portrays in the movie Sing Sing. He also was an executive producer on this film and made a cameo appearance as a Book Fan where he asks himself (Divine G played by Colman Domingo) to autograph one of his novels (Money Grip). John "Divine G" Whitfield is also the founder/owner of Divine G Entertainment. He has eight published novels (seven of which have been adapted into screenplays), three audio books, he won five national writing awards, including four PEN American Center awards and the 2008 Tacenda Literary award for best play, and he has been quoted by the United Nations and the New York Times.
John Whitfield (Divine G) was employed as a supervisory carpenter for Lil Wayne on his 2013 AMW tour.
