Finding Home

In a culture where travel and moving has become a common practice, finding a place to rest and call home is so valuable. However, Home doesn't only mean a physical location. Home is a place where your heart finds peace. It is a place where we find security and acceptance and a place where love overflows to fill all the spaces and make us complete. The season of Advent is a time of waiting and preparing. Like God's people in Jesus's time, we are waiting and preparing for the light of Christ to be revealed on earth. They too were wandering and drifting, but God sent a foundation on which to build His church. He sent us his son, Jesus, to draw us close and gather us into a place of constant protection, endless love, and unlimited grace. This is the promise that awaits us during Advent.
