For anyone interested in fibres and the rapidly expanding number of different polymers ... this is an excellent guide. It is rather an encyclopaedia than a simple dictionary ... Those in industry really need this practical form of cross-reference. ... This is clearly the work of an expert dedicated to bringing some sense out of a highly complex and often confusing area of technology. - Technical Textiles International; Provides a very comprehensive listing of plastics technology terms along with detailed descriptions. - European Plastics News; Anyone who deals with aspects of plastics and rubber technology outside the area of their particular expertise would find it invaluable to have this dictionary conveniently accessible, so as to be able to elucidate immediately the significance of unfamiliar technical terms used without any thought of a need for explanation by those `skilled in the art' - Polymer International; I would recommend that major libraries and companies active in polymer technology should acquire a copy for rapid reference - Reactive PolymersMore details

The file format PDF always displays a book page identically on any hardware. This makes PDF suitable for complex layouts such as those used in textbooks and reference books (images, tables, columns, footnotes). Unfortunately, on the small screens of e-readers or smartphones, PDFs are rather annoying, requiring too much scrolling.
This eBook uses Watermark-DRM, a „soft” copy protection. This means that there are no technical restrictions to prevent illegal distribution. However, there is a personalised watermark embedded in the eBook that can be used to identify the purchaser of the eBook in the event of misuse and to provide evidence for legal purposes.
