When she stumbles into a secret meeting that offers a new life in a hidden undersea colony governed by the principles of science and equality, she jumps at the chance to start over. But Cynthia doesn't realize there's trouble in her promised paradise, and it's trouble that she can't ignore. Cynthia may have suppressed her ethics and principles on land, but now she's found a new life, she's willing to risk everything to save her adopted home.
