It covers a huge subject area in an accessible and readable way. The layout is good and helps the reader access areas of particular interest. The best thing about the book is the quality and relevance of the illustrations. * Samantha Moore, University of Wolverhampton, UK * This book is an excellent text explaining the importance of drawing for animation with relevant illustrations. * Diane Joyce, Glasgow Caledonian University, UK * This is an extraordinary book about drawing for animation. This is a book with significant amount of fully-colored and amazing pictures, and I personally would love to own it. This will be a perfect book for a course like "drawing for animation" or "storyboards and animation," etc. * Lien Fan Shen, University of Utah, USA * A good book that gives the reader a good insight into the working processes of a range of animators. There is a good range of how to/developing ideas and animations with some very practical and achievable advice. * Michael Smith, Leeds College of Art, UK * Another very good book from Paul Wells, it is highly recommended reading for animation students. * Naime Tasdemir, Istanbul Bilgi University, Turkey * This is excellent in terms of historically accurate content. It has reinforced many of the themes I have previously covered in lectures. The file format PDF always displays a book page identically on any hardware. This makes PDF suitable for complex layouts such as those used in textbooks and reference books (images, tables, columns, footnotes). Unfortunately, on the small screens of e-readers or smartphones, PDFs are rather annoying, requiring too much scrolling.
This eBook uses Adobe-DRM, a „hard” copy protection. If the necessary requirements are not met, unfortunately you will not be able to open the eBook. You will therefore need to prepare your reading hardware before downloading.
