If you find yourself peering up at the sky as a plane roars past, there is a good chance you have caught the aviation bug and are fascinated by anything that flies. The Student Pilot Manual provides the perfect foundation for aspiring pilots to take the next step on their aviation journey.
Volume 3 of this series contains three important topics that all pilots must master:
- The weather has been tossing planes around the sky since the early days of flight. By understanding how the weather is made, pilots can tackle any weather-related challenges that they come across.
- Navigation explores the components pilots need to consider when flying to a distant destination. Careful preflight planning is the foundation for a successful flight, but even the best planned flight will require regular in-flight adjustments to reach the planned destination.
- Communication explores the special pilot language that helps keep everyone in the sky safe. There are many barriers that make communicating difficult, which is why the radio is an essential tool during a flight.
Whether you're just starting on your aviation journey or have been flying for many years, The Student Pilot Manual will help you learn about the wonderful world of aviation.
