The belief in our victory was the impetus for the chaos that spread across creation. In the end the cost was steep, but compared to what would be paid in full, it was hardly of any consequence.

With the battle just ending the Valaseri siblings have no time to rest as two mysterious undead that claim to be their distant ancestors unload more uncomfortable information on them than they could ever be ready for. It quickly becomes clear that there is far more going on than their world view can explain. They will be forced to reassess their beliefs and accept the gaps in their knowledge. Meanwhile something has been stirring in the ocean. This time their adventures will take them across the Plane of Water to cut out the cancer that is the Ashen Soul.
