Dr. John Walker is a follower of Jesus Christ, husband, father of four, endurance athlete, and educator. His passion is to help people grow in spiritual maturity by developing resilience, discipline, and integrity in every area of life. Whether on a basketball court, a mountain trail, or in a classroom, John seeks to point others to Christ through honest conversation, intentional discipleship, and the daily pursuit of holiness.
A graduate of several academic programs, including a doctoral degree, John has served as a teacher, coach, college instructor, and educational administrator. His love for athletics and personal challenge has led him to complete ultramarathons, Ironman triathlons, and other endurance events, many of which the Lord has used to deepen his faith and shape his character.
John and his family live a joy-filled life built around their local church, outdoor adventures, and a desire to see others discover the hope found in Jesus Christ. His greatest desire is to know Christ and to make Christ known, and to encourage believers to endure faithfully in the race set before them.
