The Character of God
Description
Is the God in your mind the God of the Bible? Truthfully, it has become more and more evident that there needs to be a complete overhaul of what is being taught in the pulpits of today's Church. The truth of God's character has been replaced with fantasies and fables as to what God requires from those called by His name. There is a lack of pure doctrine being taught to those listening to Church leaders. Too many are teaching a God who refuses to discipline His children. Hogwash!
God meets out judgment where it is needed to keep His household in order. He is not afraid to hand out discipline. The question is, are His children able to recognize God's Divine discipline, or do they attribute it to the devil? I'm afraid too often this is the case, which keeps God's people from recognizing their need for repentance.
