Dilip K. Das, Ph.D.,
a former member of the Indian Police Service, is the founder and president of the International Police Executive Symposium (IPES), and the author or editor of a large number of books on police-related subjects. He is the editor-in-chief of Police Practice and Research: An International Journal (PPR) as well as two book series, Advances in Police Theory and Practice and Interviews with Global Leaders in Police, Courts and Prisons.Manoj Abraham
is a senior officer of the Indian Police Service and has served in various capacities as chief of police of the cities of Cochin, Trivandrum, and Quilon. His community policing initiative was recognized with a special award in 2009 by the IACP. He received the Man of the Decade Award in 2011 for the Success in Community Policing in Kochi City. Presently he is working as Commissioner of Police in Thiruvananthapuram City.
