From building multimillion-dollar companies like the CPL Group and receiving honours from Queen Elizabeth II and King Charles III to helping improve the lives of women, children and communities through his CPL Foundation in Papua New Guinea, Sir Mahesh Patel's life is a testament to his strategic and visionary thinking.
His deep sense of social concern as well as his inspiring style of business leadership find root in his humble beginnings in the Pacific island of Fiji, where he was born into a hard-working family of Gujarati immigrants. His personal and professional achievements have, however, been tempered by times of hardship and some regrets.
The Power of Perseverance follows Sir Mahesh Patel through his business triumphs, philanthropic endeavours and personal struggles, and gives a peek into the mind of this extraordinary entrepreneur, who truly embodies the spirit of perseverance.
