Multifield Theory of Anisotropic Doubly-Curved Shells
Description
Alles über E-Books | Antworten auf Fragen rund um E-Books, Kopierschutz und Dateiformate finden Sie in unserem Info- & Hilfebereich.
Taking into account the three different approaches to studying the mechanical and multifield behaviour of anisotropic doubly-curved shell structures, the book comprehensively explains the mathematic steps necessary to each method based on curvilinear principal coordinates. Furthermore, an isogeometric mapping technique is illustrated to investigate arbitrarily-shaped structures. The modelling strategies presented in the book are three-dimensional elasticity theory, along with the Equivalent Single Layer and the Layer-Wise approach. The book focuses on Higher-order Shear Deformation Theories (HSDTs) with unified formulation, and it introduces also classical theories like the Kirchoff-Love theory and the First-order Shear Deformation Theory (FSDT). It also illustrates strong and weak formulations of the governing equations of motion and provides numerical results for several structural components as examples.
Relevant to studies in plates and shells, advanced materials, multifield analysis, vibration and stress, the book is the ideal companion for engineers and students in the area of structural, applied and computational mechanics.

File format: ePUB
Copy protection: Adobe-DRM (Digital Rights Management)
System requirements:
- Computer (Windows; MacOS X; Linux): Install the free reader Adobe Digital Editions prior to download (see eBook Help).
- Tablet/smartphone (Android; iOS): Install the free app Adobe Digital Editions or the app PocketBook before downloading (see eBook Help).
- E-reader: Bookeen, Kobo, Pocketbook, Sony, Tolino and many more (not Kindle).
The file format ePub works well for novels and non-fiction books – i.e., „flowing” text without complex layout. On an e-reader or smartphone, line and page breaks automatically adjust to fit the small displays.
This eBook uses Adobe-DRM, a „hard” copy protection. If the necessary requirements are not met, unfortunately you will not be able to open the eBook. You will therefore need to prepare your reading hardware before downloading.
