Persons
Maria Manzon is Assistant Professor in the Department of International Education and Lifelong Learning at the Education University of Hong Kong. Her research and publications focus on comparative education history, theory andmethods, and on parent engagement in Asian contexts, using philosophical and sociological perspectives. She is Associate Editor of the Asia Pacific Journal of Education and Editor of CIEclopedia. Previously, she worked at the National Institute of Education in Singapore as Research Scientist. She is Board Member of the Comparative Education Society of Asia (CESA).
Kenneth Poon is Associate Professor at the Early Childhood and Special Needs Education Academic Group at the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University. He concurrently serves as Associate Dean (Education Research) at the Office of Education Research, and as Centre Co-Director of the Centre for Research in Child Development. He has led/is leading over S$6 million worth of research projects, with research mainly focusing on the developmental psychopathology of children with risk and those with neurodevelopmental disabilities. He also serves on editorial boards of several journals, on several charity boards, and on advisory panels to the government.

Unfortunately, on the small screens of e-readers or smartphones, PDFs are rather annoying, requiring too much scrolling.
This eBook uses Watermark-DRM, a „soft” copy protection. This means that there are no technical restrictions to prevent illegal distribution. However, there is a personalised watermark embedded in the eBook that can be used to identify the purchaser of the eBook in the event of misuse and to provide evidence for legal purposes.
