Hack the Edge Off Classics comprises a collection of all my surviving fiction writing from 2009 to 2024, the year I wrote and published my first novel called Warrens Witches Psionics. I consider all this earlier writing as practice for that novel.
Both the included Warrens series and the Moral Hazard series belong to the same leaky universe as Warrens Witches Psionics, and form prequels to it.
The Warrens series and my story game Dandelion developed closely together. I used Dandelion subsequently for much of the writing.
The influence of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein runs throughout this collection. Other recurring themes include AI, demons, friendship and redemption.

System requirements
File format: ePUB
Copy protection: without DRM (Digital Rights Management)
System requirements:
- Computer (Windows; MacOS X; Linux): Use a reader that can handle the file format ePUB, such as Adobe Digital Editions or FBReader – both free (see eBook Help).
- Tablet/Smartphone (Android; iOS): Install the free app Adobe Digital Editions or the app PocketBook (see eBook Help).
- E-reader: Bookeen, Kobo, Pocketbook, Sony, Tolino and many more (not Kindle).
The file format ePUB works well for novels and non-fiction books – i.e., 'flowing' text without complex layout. On an e-reader or smartphone, line and page breaks automatically adjust to fit the small displays.
