Persons
Prof. Achim Kienle received his Dipl.-Ing. in Chemical Engineering, his Ph.D. and his Habilitation from the University of Stuttgart. He is leading a research group on synthesis and dynamics of chemical processes at the Max-Planck-Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems in Magdeburg since 1998. In addition, he is holding the chair for Automation / Modeling at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg since 2002.
Prof. Andreas Seidel-Morgenstern studied Chemical Process Engineering at the University Leuna-Merseburg. He received his Habilitation from the Technical University in Berlin. In 1995 he became full professor for Chemical Process Engineering at the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg. In 2000 he received the Max Buchner Award of the DECHEMA. Since July 2002 he is also Director of Department of "Physical and Chemical Foundation of Process Engineering" at the Max-Planck-Institute in Magdedburg.
