"Refreshing to read as the chapters are analytically robust, lucid in style, maintain logical flow, and bring nuanced insights on a wide range of thematic areas. The overarching concern of this anthology is to examine two crucial areas of gendered realities: education and workforce. . . . [A] timely publication [that] gains great significance to identify the roots of hurdles and major challenges in approaching gender equality and finding solutions to them. . . . An important resource for policymakers, political and development practitioners, employers and educationists, and of course students, research scholars, and teachers."-From the Foreword by Vibhuti Patel, Vice President, Indian Association for Women's Studies
