Ewan Spence studied Computing and Artificial Intelligence atEdinburgh University before discovering his first Psion PDA.Since then he has actively followed the development of mobilecomputing technology, and become one of the leading of mobilecomputing technology, and become one of the leading authorities onthe OPL language of Symbian OS.
He has produced software in OPL since 1994, including theever-popular and addictive 'Vexed' game for Symbian OS mobilephones. Since providing support for and fostering a vibrant OpenSource and Freeware community for Programmers through the FreEPOCSoftware House, Ewan has continued to help the wider Symbiancommunity through the All About Symbian family of websites. Hestrongly believes that Programming computers should be somethingthat is easy, accessible, and simple to understand for every user.It shouldn't require a university degree and months ofstudying.
He currently lives in Edinburgh with his wife, Vikki, his twodaughters, Eilidh and Mairi, and Crow, the puppet.
