Doug's second book, The Fable of the Snake Named Slim, is a 32 page, rhyming children's picture book about finding one's personal gift. The Fable of the Snake Named Slim was selected by the Mom's Choice Awards for excellence in family friendly media in the category of Children's Personal Growth Development. It also received the prestigious Pinnacle Book Achievement Award by the National Association of Book Entrepreneurs in the category of Child Development. Doug holds a BS in Communications from Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Communications as well as a MA in Communications from William Paterson University. Doug is a former officer in the United States Marine Corps.
