Emma Smith is Professor of Shakespeare Studies at Hartford College, University of Oxford. Emma is a Trustee of The Royal Shakespeare Company and in 2023 she was the San Wanamaker Fellow at Shakespeare's Globe. Her books include Shakespeare's Trees, The First Elizabethans, Portable Magic and This Is Shakespeare which was a Sunday Times bestseller. This is her first graphic novel.
Michael Hirshon (Illustrator)
Michael Hirshon heads the Illustration course at the University of Utah, as an Assistant Professor in the College of Fine Arts. He holds an MFA in Illustration as Visual Essay from the School of Visual Arts and his previous clients include The New York Times, Google, American Express, The Washington Post, Forbes and New Statesman Magazine.
