Hult and King conduct here a masterful choir of voices that deepen our understandings of Nancy Hornberger's impressive contributions to educational linguistics. By providing diverse local grounding to global issues of language and education, these different voices are raised to honor Hornberger, choirmaster par excellence, in praise of her complex views on the continua of biliteracy, bilingualism and bilingual education, and policy for language diversity in education. The result is a lucid volume that will become essential reading in educational linguistics. -- Ofelia Garcia, City University of New York, USAMore details

File format: ePUB

System requirements:
- Computer (Windows; MacOS X; Linux): Use a reading software that can process the file format ePUB: e.g., Adobe Digital Editions or FBReader – both free (see eBook Help).
- Tablet/Smartphone (Android; iOS): Before downloading, install the free app Adobe Digital Editions (see eBook Help).
- E-reader: Bookeen, Kobo, Pocketbook, Sony, Tolino and many more (not Kindle).
The file format ePUB works well for novels and non-fiction books – i.e., „flowing” text without complex layout. On an e-reader or smartphone, line and page breaks automatically adjust to fit the small displays.
