Dr. D.K. Singh is a Professor and founder Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) New Delhi, India. He received his Bachelor of Engineering degree from Bihar College of Engineering, Patna (now NIT Patna); Master of Engineering degree from Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) Mesra, Ranchi; and Ph.D. from Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun, India. His major areas of research include thermal and fluid sciences, design, and supply chain management. He has published more than 50 research papers in various national and international journals. He has also participated and presented papers at several national and international conferences. He has authored many books on Mechanical Engineering, which are published from reputed publishers like Springer, CRC Press and Pearson. He is a life member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), New Delhi. He has been one of the members of the first Senate of the University. Currently, he is the Head of the Department and one of the members of the Proctorial Board of the University.
Dr. Shriram Hegde is a professor at the Department of Applied Mechanics, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. He obtained his B.E. (Mech.) from the University of Mysore, M.E. from BITS, Pilani, and Ph.D. from IIT Delhi. His major areas of research interest include flow instability studies in compliant-wall flows, computational mechanics, finite element methods, computational fluid dynamics, and CAD/CAM. He has published about 65 papers in respected international journals. Dr. Hegde is currently serving as the treasurer and executive committee member of Indian Society of Mechanical Engineers (ISME). He is a life member of ISME and National Society of Fluid Mechanics and Fluid Power.
Dr. Ashutosh Mishra is working as an assistant professor in the Department of Applied Mechanics, Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad. His areas of interest are mechanical behaviour of materials, composites, finite element analysis, and solid mechanics. He has been a reviewer of several reputed journals such as: Latin American Journal of Solids and Structures and Journal of Materials Engineering and Performance. He is also serving as a guest editor in Composites: Mechanics, Computations, Applications, Begell House, (Scopus, ESCI), Critical Reviews in Biomedical Engineering, and Begell House, (Scopus).
