Persons
Dr. Poonam Sharma, Associate Professor at Department of Zoology, Gargi College, University of Delhi, India has more than 15 years of teaching experience. Dr. Sharma received the prestigious "BOYSCAST FELLOW" award from the Department of Science and Technology of the Government of India for outstanding research in the field of environmental engineering at LIEBE, Universite Paul Verlaine-Metz, France. Dr. Sharma was also a Visiting fellow at Swiss Federal Institute for Environmental Science and Technology (EAWAG), Dubendorf, Switzerland. She received her Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology from the Department of Zoology, University of Delhi (DU). She has edited and written several chapters and modules for postgraduate, undergraduate, and senior secondary school students. Dr. Sharma has a number of peer-reviewed journal papers to her credit and has participated in a number of international and national conferences.
