The Phoenix Protector
Description
Deep in the Black Ridge National Forest, Sandra finds a hurt large bird calling out in pain, called a Phoenix. She bandages it up and then transports the mythological bird on a homemade stretcher from a blank and two branches to her cabin two miles away, avoiding the poachers, who shot the bird in the first place. As the story continues, a Medical Drug Corporations use ex-military goons to hunt and return the Phoenix to harvest its ability to heal. Enjoy the short novel with its twists and turns. My name is Edward Shields grew up in a small town in Southeast Ohio. Received a degree in Electronics and had jobs in the medical equipment service. I retired from a local hospital in 2025.
