Dr. David Shapiro is a Professor of Psychology at the Center for Psychological Studies, Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale Florida. He teaches courses on ethics and professional issues, forensic assessment, criminal law, and projective testing. His research involves studies of capital sentencing, expert testimony, the insanity defense, and assessment of the perpetrators of domestic violence. He lectures extensively on forensic assessment and on risk management in psychological practice.
Angela Noe , M.A., is a Clinical Psychology Doctoral Candidate at the Center for Psychological Studies, Nova Southeastern University. She previously received a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Her clinical and research interests are in the area of forensic behavioral analysis, crisis (hostage) negotiations, risk assessment, and female-perpetrated aggression. She has extensive experience working with at-risk youthand youth involved in the juvenile justice system.
