Dr. Shaik Firdoz is an associate professor in the Department of Biotechnology, Vignan University, India. He obtained his PhD degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the National University of Singapore in 2015. He worked as a post-doctoral fellow at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology and later as an academic staff. His research is primarily focused on the fabrication and development of advanced semiconductor based nanohybrids for energy and biomedical applications. He has authored or co-authored more than 35 research articles in reputable journals, and two book chapters. He is the recipient of the NUS research fellowship and has received several poster awards at The Israel Chemical Society Conference.
Ranjit Pabbati completed his B. Tech, M. Tech, and Ph.D. in Biotechnology at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, India. His research work focused on the area of medicinal plant biotechnology for evaluation of its antimicrobial activity on various pathogenic bacteria, and antioxidant activity. Currently he is working as an Assistant professor at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. He has published 25 book chapters, three books, and 25 research papers with highly esteemed publishers, and three review articles in reputed Journals. He has one patent for design from the Indian Patent Agency in 2023.
