Description
Alles über E-Books | Antworten auf Fragen rund um E-Books, Kopierschutz und Dateiformate finden Sie in unserem Info- & Hilfebereich.
The book aims to demonstrate for the nonlinear science community a newly emerging field of nonlinear science, and so stimulates the development of new theoretical approaches and opens new horizons for the photonics community by pushing boundaries of the existing laser systems towards new applications. The new classes of optical sources and photonic devices explored in this book will be relevant with applications to other fields, including medicine, bio-photonics, metrology, and environmental safety.
Key Features
* Provides a cutting edge review of the latest emerging science, technology and applications in the field.
* Tackles a topic with fast growing interest in USA, Europe and China.
* Explores the simple and cheap design and tests of lasers, and outlines the feasible applications.

Persons
Chengbo Mou received his B.Eng. degree in electronic science and technologies (optoelectronics) from Tianjin University, China, in 2004, in addition to his M.Sc. degree in photonics and optoelectronic devices from the University of St Andrews, U.K., in 2005, and a Ph.D. degree in photonics from Aston University in 2012. He then worked as an Industrial Research Fellow with Aston University. In 2016, he joined in the Key Laboratory of Specialty Fiber Optics and Optical Access Networks at Shanghai University as a Full Professor. His research interests include nanophotonics, nanomaterial-based nonlinear photonic devices, ultrafast fiber lasers, novel type of mode locked lasers, and nonlinear applications of advanced fiber grating devices. He is the recipient of National High Level Oversea Recruitment programme of China, the Young Eastern Scholar Fellowship from the Shanghai Institute of Higher Learning. He has published over 100 journal and conference papers, 3 book chapters. He has been extensively involved in projects supported by Natural Science Foundation of China, Natural Science Foundation of Shanghai, Ministry of Education China, and MOST China.

File format: ePUB
Copy protection: Adobe-DRM (Digital Rights Management)
System requirements:
- Computer (Windows; MacOS X; Linux): Install the free reader Adobe Digital Editions prior to download (see eBook Help).
- Tablet/smartphone (Android; iOS): Install the free app Adobe Digital Editions or the app PocketBook before downloading (see eBook Help).
- E-reader: Bookeen, Kobo, Pocketbook, Sony, Tolino and many more (not Kindle).
The file format ePub works well for novels and non-fiction books – i.e., „flowing” text without complex layout. On an e-reader or smartphone, line and page breaks automatically adjust to fit the small displays.
This eBook uses Adobe-DRM, a „hard” copy protection. If the necessary requirements are not met, unfortunately you will not be able to open the eBook. You will therefore need to prepare your reading hardware before downloading.
