After yet another rejection from a publishing house, and with her dreams of becoming a children's book author shattered for good, Yeon-seo decides to go for a hike in the mountains to clear her head and relax. Lost in her thoughts, she loses her way and runs into Seo-ju, a man who seems to have stepped out of another era. He leads her to The Bookshop of Illusions; an enigmatic place, accessible only to those who are truly lost and desperately need to find themselves.

Here, books aren't sold but stories are freely available to those willing to listen. Every visit, Seo-ju reads out a story from a mysterious blue book. Stories steeped in sorrow and wonder, fables that feel too real, too intimate. As each tale unfolds, Yeon-seo begins to sense that these tales are not fiction at all, but fragments of a life entwined with her own.

Page after page, caught between myth and memory, Yeon-seo must confront a truth that spans lifetimes - and a love that may have never truly ended.
