J. Scott is a decorated combat veteran and devoted family man. Scott's military life shaped him as an adult and was the inspiration for the Tommy Jenkins story. Scott wanted to share the heroics, courage, and adventure of battle with his children while preserving their innocence. Scott currently works as a law enforcement officer in Texas.
