Dr. Schmidt has published several papers on agent-based modeling of financial markets, market microstructure, and algorithmic trading as well as a book entitled Quantitative Finance for Physicists: An Introduction. He also teaches in the Financial Engineering Program of Stevens Institute of Technology.
