The Tree That Remembers
Description
Alles über E-Books | Antworten auf Fragen rund um E-Books, Kopierschutz und Dateiformate finden Sie in unserem Info- & Hilfebereich.
It is not a memoir. It is not tied to one single story. These poems are fragments of many stories about those who live in the loop of forgetfulness, about caregivers who wake up already exhausted and dreading the day. Here, you will not find sugarcoating. You will find stormy moods, broken routines, sharp outbursts, and surprising moments of tenderness. filled with endless questions, repetitive stories, and defiance regarding every simple task.
This is a book about dementia, yes... but also about love, patience, grief, and endurance.
If you have walked this road, or are walking it now, I hope you find stories of your experience in these pages. And if you haven't, may these poems help you see the world through the eyes of someone who has.

Person
Melissa Sarinah was born and raised in a beautiful tropical country named Suriname and is a girl who preferred reading above anything else in school and her notebooks were always full of scribbles.
Writing is her way of coping with all of her emotions and a way to reach out to people when spoken words fall short.
She inherited her love for writing from her grandpa who always encouraged her and now her mom is her biggest supporter.
She is daily inspired by BTS and Seventeen and without them, she wouldn't have had the courage to ever go public with her writings.
