Get Witted: Master Your Mind, Sharpen Your Thinking, and Take Control of Your Life is a practical, no-excuses guide to building mental strength in a distracted, emotionally reactive world.
We live in a time where information is everywhere, but wisdom is rare. Opinions travel faster than facts. Emotions often overpower logic. Many people react instead of reflect, follow instead of think, and drift instead of design their lives.
Get Witted exists to change that.
This book is about reclaiming ownership of your mind.
Being "witted" is not about sounding intelligent or memorizing facts. It is about learning how to think clearly under pressure, regulate your emotions, question faulty assumptions, and make decisions that serve your long-term goals. It is about developing intellectual discipline, emotional awareness, and personal responsibility.
In other words, it is about mental mastery.
Drawing from psychology, philosophy, life experience, and real-world coaching, this book presents a system for training the mind the same way athletes train the body. Just as muscles grow through resistance, the mind grows through intentional challenge, reflection, and refinement.
Inside this book, you will learn how to:
• Identify mental habits that sabotage success
• Replace reactive thinking with strategic awareness
• Strengthen focus in a world built on distraction
• Build emotional intelligence without suppressing feelings
• Develop self-discipline without burnout
• Make values-based decisions with confidence
• Break free from limiting beliefs and narratives
Unlike many motivational books that rely on hype and slogans, Get Witted treats personal growth as a skill set-something that can be learned, practiced, and mastered. It offers practical exercises, reflection tools, and real-life applications designed to turn insight into consistent action.
More details
Person
Ryan C Sanders, born on March 10, 1977, in New Orleans, Louisiana, is a man of many facets shaped by a life rich in experience and responsibility. Raised by his intuitive single mother, he learned early the value of hard work and resilience, stepping into the role of an example for his younger siblings. From hustling as a neighborhood salesman to serving as a correctional officer, youth minister, recording artist known as Kynami Love, jingle writer, barber, and CEO of two businesses, Ryan's journey has been anything but ordinary. Now a cognitive therapist specializing in Thought Therapy, Ryan is also a proud father, stepfather, an Pawpah and devoted husband. His life has been a constant exploration of the world and the human spirit, traveling across the globe?from India to China, the Caribbean, and beyond?in search of understanding and self-discovery. Guided by a deep respect for universal human laws, Ryan's journey has been one of questioning authority, embracing life in all its complexities, and seeing the world through the eyes of others. This holistic perspective is the foundation of the work he now shares with the world.
