The Chosen One - The Full story is the last of The Chosen One series. The book combines Part One, Part Two and Part Three into one complete story. Thamsanqa's parents chose a wife for him before they died. Initially, he felt compelled into marrying the chosen one, however, upon knowing the reason, he agrees to the arranged marriage. He is forced to leave his girlfriend in order to marry Rose, the chsen one. Rachel is unhappy when they break up and discovers that she is pregnant. She uses her pregnancy as retaliation to disrupt his wedding, and accidentally gives birth in church. The stunt she pulls convinces Thamsanqa that he did right by agreeing to the arranged marriage.
The consequence of a hidden paternity haunt Thamsanqa, Rose and Rachel because their children have been involved in an incestuous relationship. Thamsanqa Junior unknowingly becomes involved in an incestuous relationship with Palesa, Rachel's daughter. They discover after the incestuous encounter that they are related. Palesa becomes pregnant and the child passes away. The consequence of a hidden paternity becomes a lesson to the parents about honest communication.
Brenda cheats on Jabulani who later brekas up with her. She tires of her own cheating, and learns that human beings need to be emotionally and physically close to each other, and that life is better shared than living it alone. she tries to reconcile with him, fails, and commits suicide because of his refusal to reconcile with her.
The divergent beliefs of the Malinga and the Mafani families create a problem for Jabulani, who is supposed to support his wife when her traditional family performs their traditional rituals. His mother refuses to support him because her Christian beliefs clash with the traditional beliefs of the Malinga family.
Blessing becomes an ambassador to the unites States of America after assisting his political party win the elections to become the party with the most votes in the Government of National Unity. However, he discovers at the end of his tenure that the South African political landscape is volatile. He quits politics after realizing that his country isn't willing to embrace social democracy as a framework to address its deep-seated issues of inequality and poverty.
