A unique collaboration project bringing together poets from across the globe. The project, driven by newly published Author Stephanie Rowe, began with a desire to share more of her own work. Fusing her love of community and poetry the idea quickly grew and a call for poetry submissions on social media yielded an overwhelming response.
Twenty-two poet's were chosen from around the world, including Australia, Canada, Brazil, Israel, America, England, Scotland and America. Without constraints, the poetry submitted surpassed expectations in quality, reflecting all aspects of life, from the serious to the humorous.
The World In Our Words transcends many boundaries. Collaboration is at the heart of this book. We have all contributed at each stage of the process, with the title, cover and promotion of the book. Profits from the book will also go back to the individual poets and they maintain their own copyright over the poems.
The World In Our Words has evolved into a joyous celebration of diverse voices. It demonstrates the ability to connect people of all abilities whether an established writer or emerging. It rises above the idea of the individual and promotes being part of a community spanning across the world.
The World In Our Words is a powerful portrayal of the human experience, showcasing the highs and lows of life. As you travel the world you will also traverse the diverse landscapes of poetry exploring various styles and subjects.
