Persons
Kishore Debnath completed his bachelor's and master's degrees in mechanical engineering from National Institute of Technology (NIT) Agartala and National Institute of Technology Rourkela, respectively. He completed his PhD from IIT Roorkee in 2015 in the field of manufacturing of composite materials. He started his career as an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of National Institute of Technology Meghalaya in 2015. He has published more than 70 manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals. He has also contributed several chapters in different books published by internationally renowned publishers. His current research is focused on the area of conceptualization and development of biodegradable composites and cost-effective manufacturing methods. He was honored with the prestigious 'Excellent Research Contribution Award' of NIT Meghalaya in 2019 and 2023.
